MEET OUR TEAM
DR. IGNE has been a practicing optometrist for several years. She graduated from UC San Diego with a Bachelor’s in Biology and went on to complete her Doctorate at the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University, graduating as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society. She has been in the Optometric Field for about a decade; starting off as an Eyecare Technician, a Lead Eyecare Advisor, an Optician, and now an Optometrist. Her special interests include Family Optometry with an emphasis on Pediatrics and Vision Therapy. She has become well known for her exceptional care and service.
DR. WANG earned his Doctorate in Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During his clinical rotations, he honed his skills diagnosing and treating a variety of ocular disease and pathology including primary open angle glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive angiopathy, age-related macular degeneration, cataracts, dry eye syndrome, blepharitis, meibomian gland dysfunction, keratoconus, as well as allergic, viral and bacterial conjunctivitis.
As a member of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development, he has particular interests in pediatric optometry and vision therapy. He also has significant experience working with children and adults with special needs through many years developing health and wellness programs at Westside Regional Center. He routinely volunteers his time with Opening Eyes clinics at the Special Olympics, as well as medical mission trips to Thailand, Tanzania and Mexico.
Dr. Wang lives in Irvine with his wife, one toddler and another child on the way. When not practicing optometry, he likes to jog along the San Diego Creek Trail, travel to far off destinations, try new foods and play cards.
DR. BONVECCHIO majored in Biological Sciences at the University of California Irvine earning her Bachelor of Science degree. She also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Science as well as her Doctorate of Optometry degree at the Southern California College of Optometry in 1989. She is Board Certified in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease.
Dr. Bonvecchio practices family optometry seeing both adults and children. She specializes in fitting an array of contact lenses, including toric, gas permeable and multifocal lenses.
Dr. Bonvecchio is a California native, growing up in northern California, then moving to Orange County when she was in high school.
